Bias Guru is provided as-is. The analyses are produced by an automated reading engine. They're useful, opinionated, and sometimes wrong. Do not rely on them as fact-checks, legal advice, or substitutes for reading the original article yourself.

You are free to read, share, and link to any analysis. You may not use the site to:

• Spam, abuse, or harass other users.
• Submit material you don't have a right to submit.
• Probe, scrape, or automate the site beyond reasonable use.

Donations to Bias Guru are voluntary contributions to support the running of a free public-interest tool. They are not:

• Charitable donations. Bias Guru is not a registered charity. You cannot Gift Aid these contributions.
• Payment for goods or services. Donating does not entitle you to anything beyond the same site everyone else uses.
• Subscriptions. Donations are one-off. We do not store recurring billing details.

Because nothing is being sold, refunds aren't expected. That said, mistakes happen — if you donated by accident, donated the wrong amount, or your card was used without your permission, get in touch and we'll sort it out. Contact supporters@bias.guru with your donation reference ID.

When you donate you can optionally include a display name and a message. By submitting them you consent to them appearing on the public supporter wall. You can:

• Tick “Hide me entirely” on the donation form to skip the wall altogether.
• Anonymise your records later via the self-service portal.

We automatically filter messages for abusive content. If your message is filtered, your donation still counts — only the flagged content is hidden.

Don't use the message field to:

• Promote products or services (links are auto-blocked anyway).
• Threaten, harass, or dox anyone.
• Post hate speech, sexual content, or anything illegal.

Bad-faith messages get caught by the moderation layer and replaced with “[message removed]” on the public wall. Repeat offenders may have donations refunded and be blocked from future contributions.

To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for anything that happens because you read an analysis on Bias Guru, including decisions you make based on it. Read the original article. Make up your own mind.

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes affecting donors will be communicated by email where we have one on file.
